We greatly enjoyed good-sized room with balcony and patient staff. The hotel had a secluded position really close to back and the beautiful gardens from the windows. Furthermore, in the recently opened "Seasons" Restaurant.

a beautiful park directly belonging to the hotel. Terrace for afternoon tea just perfect. Warm, warm atmosphere. For bad weather: very nice salons.
the typical Scottish breakfast was rather average, the rest very good. Beds could be partially wider.

The breakfast was sumptuous for vegetarians, the staff were happy to help. Secluded location of this pet-friendly hotel was a bonus. It was a coastal area, the best base for me.
Nothing that i didn't like.

The junior suites provide a spacious escape, with lovely bathrooms and comfy, oversized beds. The dining experience stands out. Dinner offers expertly cooked lamb and grouse while breakfast keeps you fueled for the day.
Check-in can feel slow. There might be a wait before someone appears at reception. The bar's evening hours can be lacking, occasionally leaving it unattended with no drinks available. Some rooms might feel a bit small or lack certain amenities like a bathtub, which could be a letdown for those expecting more luxury.

Great garden, nice staff, nice rooms
The breakfast is not good. Too little choice, the porridge completely watery, no freshly squeezed juices. Not the level of a 4 star hotel

Spacious room, large bathroom with bathtub and shower, lovingly prepared breakfast
The hotel is unfortunately a bit too far from the center of St. Andrews. We went by car.
